Electrical PM Job Description:

Improve systems and processes to effectively meet customer and company requirements
Manage, mentor, and develop a group of electricians and foremen
Participate in work assignments, hiring, promotions and performance evaluations
Ensure schedule’s are met for projects, adjust priorities and milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements

The Sr. Project Manager will be a critical part of the Operations leadership team and will be engaged with multiple, cross-functional projects that will have significant financial and operational impact to JTI’s business.

Approach new and existing facilities and organizations promoting JTI’s expertise and offer our various engineering, design, and construction services.
Drive growth and profitability through effective project execution.
Evaluate and continually improve the systems and processes being used by the department to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals.
Develop the organization to achieve excellence through continuous improvement; support lesson learned activity and implement identified initiatives.
Manage, mentor, and develop a group of 5-20 total reports.
Responsible for work assignments, hiring, promotions and performance appraisals.
Develop appropriate bids or estimates to ensure we win long term partnerships meeting JTI margin expectations.
Review the overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific process design methodology for individual projects as required.
Ensure schedule requirements are met for all projects; need the capability to readily adjust priorities and milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.
Interact with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during and after project completion.

Senior Electrical Power Engineer w/Incentive

Engineer and design industrial power distribution and control systems.

· Perform electrical engineering calculations and studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash analysis, protective relay coordination, voltage drop, raceway and conductor sizing, and grounding system conductor sizing.

Conduct industrial electrical power distribution design, engineering, and sizing of power distribution equipment, including MCCs, switchgears, transformers, feeders.

. Conduct occasional site visits to support electrical projects.

. Provide technical support and mentor junior engineers and designers on projects.

· Develop and or modify specifications, calculations, and drawings in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

· Assist in the development of cost estimates, change orders, material takeoffs, resource utilization and forecasting reports.

· Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of work performed within the electrical engineering and design department.

· Coordinate with customers, vendors, distributors, and contractors as required in the execution of engineering and design duties.

· Provide construction support such as as-builting, field observations, and field modifications.
